Your Camper will spend half the day in Marine Science Camp: Campers will have the opportunity to utilize our amazing Marine Science Lab with our Marine Science Teacher Ms.Dickey. We will explore the wonders of the marine environment and celebrate habitats and life of the ocean, and our shores. Whether they are new to marine science, or passionate oceanographers at heart, students will take part in creative and hands-on activities, projects, and play that inspire learning and a greater appreciation for ocean stewardship. The other half of their day will be spent in Ninja Warrior Training Camp: Get ready to run, jump, climb, tip toe, skip and battle your way through various challenges, activities, relays and obstacles. Each day there is a focus on one of the many social emotional, and/or physical skills to have the heart, body and mind of a ninja warrior. Daily they train to complete tasks and sharpen skills! All of the camps come together for lunch, recess breaks, and special events. We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Outdoor field games in local area parks daily. We spend the first and last hour of the day inside doing arts and crafts, STEM projects, and indoor sports such bowling and ping pong. The rest of the morning and afternoon we are outdoors doing field games and traditional activities utilizing local area parks. Kayaking are Wednesdays during the morning session, weather permitting. There are no swim days or rock climbing days planned at this time. If that changes we will update this page. We are open rain or shine, during inclement weather and poor air quality days we spend more time inside doing crafts, indoor sports and other activities. Hot lunch and healthy snacks are included. Farm Camp is run from our 1-acre school farm in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. We provide an opportunity for children to connect with nature while directly participating in the daily rhythms of farm life. Our day camp is designed to inspire a connection with and love of the natural world, and also a chance to get hands dirty in fun and educational ways. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, crafts and free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

IN THE ART GARDEN Come for an afternoon of creativity and hands on fun. At this camp your child will join the worlds of science and art with a sculpture of their favorite animal as a flower pot! This is our S.T.E.M. program that allows children to use their scientific thinking to create their own conclusions about the theme presented in a play-based exploration. Drop-off S.T.E.M. PlayLab is for children developmental ages 3-6. This registration is for an 8-week session. Child may register for Sunday 10:30-11:15 Drop-off Art and 11:15-12:00 Drop-off S.T.E.M. PlayLab to have a combined 1.5 hour drop-off time with one class moving directly to the next.

In this hands-on engineering camp, students learn how to build their own interactive electronic devices. Using user-friendly microcontrollers, campers will build circuits, then code them to create systems that light up, buzz, react to motion & sound, and more. Students begin with the basics—how electricity flows, how devices collect data, and how coding controls hardware—then apply those skills to build smart alarms, reaction-time games, simple monitors, and interactive devices. (No coding experience required.) By the end of the week, each camper will have developed a working knowledge of physical computing, controls, sensors and more. This camp is ideal for students new to electronics as well as those ready to level up their engineering skills. Recommended for ages 11-15.
